Combination Strike (The MA passive) Doesn't seem to work on basic attacks, tested using Hanging into Checkmate (And then using checkmate normally, no damage change), if this isn't a bug somehow I apologize for the confusion.

It won't work with basic attack skills, no. Those do not have a Power/SWA to boost; they just cause you to basic attack.
