It would be nice to have the spike itself overlap all over tile effects. However, given you would need to somehow shuffle the spikes into a neighboring tile, I don't think the latter is feasible. We'd see weird clipping, or strange density in those tiles.

Given the recent housing shortage, you may want to make the map larger. It's just a thought, because I know a couple people who have been trying to get a Voilegard house for a while now.

I run items than Pr-His all the time. Smoke bombs, gems, and cleanse potions make just as big of a change in the flow of battle. I disagree. They have their places and purposes, this is true, but they certainly don't beat healing for 75% of your total health, with the only investment being 5 talent...

At the moment, Duelist is the class that needs more versatility the least. Though, regardless of whether or not balance issues are a concern, the identity of the skill should not be put into question for the sake of what some people would perceive as fun. The limit of martial weaponry is to keep the skill's identity. It doesn't make very much sense for a duelist to benefit from pulling out a gun, or a tome. I don't think it'd be particularly overpowered in any regard, I just don't personally think it would fit the theme very much.

I think another option is removing the Gravestone effect where it makes Wraithguard immune to damage. I find this one to be quick and simple personally, because then it requires more strategic thinking when you set down a Wraithguard instead of just slapping it down with a Gravestone immediately, 7...

I've moved this to balance fu, because it really is a balance fu topic. While I'd very much like to see things beyond sword and spear being used for it, I don't think it should work with weapons beyond martial weapons, and daggers. So, that would be any combination of swords, spears, axes and daggers.
