Can Absolute Death's bonus AOE damage count for Hidden Cut? The effect, while an appreciated bonus, still feels a little underwhelming, and doesn't really help in a scenario against multiple opponents all that much, most of the time, and Kensei having an extra way to make use of Hidden Cut for AOE would be nice, I think?

I'd say extending Hidden Cut to just include Kensei skill damage in general is a pretty safe idea.

Absolute death's bonus effect is quite bad. In any scenario where aoe is useful, you're probably more enclined to use a proper aoe skill than a kensei skill (though it's not bad with raijinken in that case)

The damage is quite low. Since it has zero effect on the main target, it could do with having either a better effect, or applying to the main target.

That being said, 15 swa isn't bad, so this is still a mainstay of kensei especially non-evade. But it would be very nice to have the bonus effect proc feel good

But the mechanic in itself feels like a more contrived, and even then weaker Nachben rn outside of that, I feel like it just could use a little bump in any way. (did I spell that right?)
